My mission for 2019!

abstract art, fizzy bottleHappy new year everyone! I hope you had a good 2018 and that 2019 is even better! Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my blog posts over the last year and also to everyone who has helped and supported me with the blog.

In 2018 I lost my way a bit with this blog and I got a bit down about not being able to be a perfect eco-thrifter. However my lovely husband has helped to remind me that although I may not be perfect, there are loads of eco thrifty things we do that I don’t give a second thought to any more. That is actually great because it means we have set up our habits to help save money and to be kind to the environment on auto pilot!

I’m going into 2019 feeling re-enthused and my mission is to help you guys as much as I can to save money and the environment too, so that one day you look back and you feel like you aren’t doing anything special at all – it’s all become second nature to you too!

There are so many benefits to saving money and the environment, but the biggest one for me is that it gives you an element of financial freedom that you didn’t have before, whilst allowing yourself to feel good about the way you went about it. Making the money you have go further and making money in ways you may not have previously considered gives you more ability to pursue your dreams big and small.

That is something I want for you too! I want to help you find your way to freeing up the time and cash to pursue your dreams. So please feel free to get in touch and let me know what you want to see on the blog this year. What questions do you want to get answered? What topics would you like to be covered? Get in touch Facebook and Twitter and by email on ecothriftyliving@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you so that I can know how to help you best!

On another note I promised to write my book for two hours last week, which I have done. Going forward I am now going to commit to writing every day until the book is finished even if it is only for 10 minutes some days. I am going to carry on reporting back on my book progress weekly because it is incredibly helpful to keep me on track!

Look out for my next blog update about the book and the direction I am going to take this blog in next Tuesday!
